Amazing video footage taken during a project we are collaborating on that captures both a whale's-point-of-view and an aerial perspective of humpback whale bubble-net feeding! In this study, we are collaborating with UH Manoa Marine Mammal Research Program and UH Hilo, among others, using drones to quantify the bioenergetic demands of humpback whale migration between Alaskan feeding and Hawaiian breeding grounds.
