WATCH: Mammoet successfully lifted both halves of the central arch for the construction of the Matagarup Bridge. The innovative Mega Jack system was used for this project held in Perth, #Australia. Each steel components measured 120m long x 35m wide and weighed 400t. The Mega Jack system was built as construction towers 50m above each of the bridge piers where they acted as a temporary support. Apparently there are some decent bloody narrow windy hills between Port Augusta and Quorn 藍, went through 15L of diesel in 30kms , had to keep the pace up because there were a few blind corners and hills.
