The only issue I had was selecting DLC to download (IIRC, I own the season pass but not the GotY). The DLC was listed twice, but it wasn't labeled PS4 vs PS5 and I somehow managed to download the PS4 version first even though the game isn't installed.</p><p></p><p>As for freebie versions of the game not getting the free next-gen upgrade... I feel like the changes so far are pretty small and the GotY edition has been going on sale often for $10 since 2021 or earlier.
