My family has made it for years. 1 baked deep dish pie crust 2 cups sliced strawberries, divided 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 3 Tablespoons corn starch 1 small box strawberry jello Add 1 cup sliced strawberries to baked pie crust. Mix water, cornstarch and sugar in pan and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick. Combine strawberry jello with sugar mixture then add 1 cup strawberries.
