A stunning new mosaic depicting the Apparition at Knock in 1879 was unveiled in the Basilica at Knock Shrine, Co Mayo, on February 28th, 2016. Illustrated by P.J. Lynch and crafted by Travisanutto Mosaics, this is one of the largest, single, flat pieces of religious mosaic in Europe. | Knock Shrine

We are delighted to unveil this wonderful scale model of Knock village, exactly as it was on the day of the Apparition on the 21st of August 1879. The model is the work of Colin Patten of historymaker.ie and is a truly magnificently detailed depiction of the village. The model now forms a permanent part of the Knock Museum exhibition. Knock Museum is open 7 days per week from 10 am to 6 pm. | Knock Shrine
