A slice of history: The Wicklow RNLI Lifeboat Station volunteers with their 30 year old Tyne class lifeboat, the last operational vessel of its kind in the Institution. This is a visit that came about with a chance meeting at the bar of the RNLI College back in January — 2nd Coxswain Ciaran Doyle (bottom row, third from left) said, “You should come to Wicklow and photograph our Tyne before she leaves in March!” Eight weeks later, here I am with these wonderful people and their incredible machine
