UPDATE: SR 489 is now OPEN to traffic. MDOT crews have replaced the culvert and leveled the roadway. #MShwys #workingforyou —- Here is drone footage from the State Route 489 repair in Newton County. A large section of the roadway was washed out Wednesday and continued rainfall has delayed the repair.
