Google, Facebook to build undersea Internet cable between LA and HK Google and Facebook have announced plans to work with other companies to connect Los Angeles and Hong Kong with a high-capacity internet cable. The Pacific Light Cable Network will stretch for 12,800 kilometers beneath the Pacific Ocean.
