The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 469 mile scenic drive running from the blue ridge mountains in North Carolina all the way into northern Virginia. The drive is stunning during fall and is a must do at least once in your life. The astounding viewsheds along the Blue Ridge Parkway are a hallmark of the iconic drive. The Parkway’s designers created roadside overlooks so travelers could fully take in the vistas. However, years of tree growth can shroud the views.
