Apr 5, 2014 · Double check me on this- because I have no first hand experience with an E3. I believe the E3 had the jackshaft under the intake throat, like all the later models, off which the header and feeder beater ran. A distinction between the E and the later and bigger Gleaners was that the E headers ran with a big belt off the combine pivot shaft.

Feb 1, 2025 · Then I bought another set from them that I am pretty sure were the same part number (this was a few years ago and sometimes CRS creeps in) and they warned on the site that they would not work with 6v systems, but I think those are the ones on the E3... or I found some on line that looked exactly like the ones from Steiner but were labeled 6v ...

Mar 10, 2024 · For only four acres almost anything will do it. We baled up to 20 with a late JD A and used to use a COOP E3 till the engine just got too weak. The independent PTO was a plus but my wife would drive the A. I would have used the Ford 2000 (3 cyl) for the power steering but the PTO location was too low for the baler to fit.

Jun 17, 2008 · I could get my H down to 3325 with me on it,, at the time I was around 230#. I had rear rims off a Coop E3,, and weld on hubs, pressed steel on the front, and underneath the radiator, I had cut the upper bolster down to save weight.

Apr 16, 2021 · Neighbor rented Grampa's house across the road from our house and farmed shares with Dad. He had a Co-op E3 with live PTO which worked well on the community Allis Rotobaler. Not real sure who owned that, it went wherever it was needed. At some point Dad got sick of dealing with small rounds and had a custom outfit with a square baler do our hay.
