The biggest difference between Black and Sigma, graphics aside, is that Sigma does away with Black's adventure aspects. Puzzles are nearly completely gone for example. Sigma also is a bit of a rush-job and as such misses a lot of little details. A lot of hidden boss weaknesses are gone, the ability to skip certain cutscenes is missing etc.

Nov 10, 2020 · Sigma was made by another team at Tecmo and has some minor tweaks and removed some minor content and added some new content. It's largely the same game and most agree that while Black is better Sigma stays pretty close to it. You will be fine picking up Sigma. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on the other hand is wildly different than Vanilla Ninja Gaiden II.

Know that most Ninja Gaiden games are very different to each other, so if you don't like this one, there's a chance you might like the others. The first game is very slow-paced action for instance, while 2 and 3 are more high speed action.

Most fans, myself included, absolutely hate Sigma II. It destroys everything that made the original version of Ninja Gaiden II enjoyable.

Nov 1, 2021 · The increase from Sun is pretty light, like 5-10% but it does help kill some enemies with strings that wouldn't normally. Same with Moon but that much defense is basically insignificant, the only time I've used Moon is in the dual tank fight on Master Ninja to reduce the damage I took from machine gun fire.
