The PC performs better in Maya, but I cannot stand the Windows interface, so I use the Mac. It's a desktop system, not a laptop. My old Intel Macbook Pro (16GB RAM) was outperforming a Core i7 gaming laptop that had 32GB RAM - only in Photoshop.
