This week is our first time getting a good look at Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, and things didn't get off to a great start after some notable comments from owner Jerry Jones. Diggs is recovering from another knee surgery this offseason,
The Cowboys are forging ahead with Diggs’ replacement until he returns. He expressed confidence that things are progressing in his rehab work. He disputed on X that he’s behind in his recovery and also made note that the Cowboys knew of his plans this offseason
And so, in lieu of cornerback Trevon Diggs giving up the ability to make $500,000 more, the team was able to reduce his salary by $500,000 because he didn’t. “ No, I didn’t expect that ,” Diggs told reporters on Tuesday when asked for his reaction to the move. “That kind of hurt my feelings. But it’s OK. Hopefully, I’ll make it back in incentives.”
