While most Met Gala attendees arrive at the carpet via black SUV, “F1” star Damson Idris pulled up in a different ride. The actor arrived at the red carpet on Monday in a APXGP race car, featured in his upcoming “F1” film.

Damson Idris made quite the entrance at the 2025 Met Gala. This year's Costume Institute exhibit and correlating Met Gala theme was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." Celebrities in attendance dressed to the nines in accordance with the evening's dress code, "Tailored for You."

For that event, the budding star wore a sleek custom suit by dunhill and was accompanied by the brand's creative director, Mark Weston. The dress code that year was "Gilded Glamour, White Tie," a nod to the extravagant styles of clothing worn during the Gilded Age.
