Jon Bernthal is officially back as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day — the fourth instalment in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man franchise under the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is set for a theatrical release in the US on July 31,

“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton will direct “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, who play Peter Parker’s besties MJ and Ned, are expected to return. “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink will also appear in the film.

Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also returning as MJ and Ned respectively, in the fourth chapter, which is officially titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day
