TORONTO — José Ramírez’s absence from the Guardians lineup was short-lived. The All-Star third baseman returned Sunday after sitting out Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays with a mild right ankle sprain.

José Ramírez’s right ankle is sore after the Cleveland Guardians star stumbled over first base in a loss at Toronto, but manager Stephen Vogt said the six-time All-Star third baseman wasn’t too badly injured.
