The latest iPhone update has landed. Unusually for a minor point update, it includes features that aren’t just security concerns.
March 2 (Reuters) - Apple on Monday launched iPhone 17e, its more affordable smartphone model that starts at a price of $599 with 256 gigabytes of storage, as it looks to defend its share in a fiercely competitive global handset market.
The new iPhone 17e, a budget-friendly version of the iPhone 17, is available for pre-order on March 4 and in stores on March 11.
Users obtain an immediate online valuation, dispatch items free of charge, and receive payment the same day the goods are received and authenticated, the brand claims. For a quicker service, the company has teamed up with high-street provider Timpson, enabling handsets to be handed in-store for payment in as little as 15 minutes.
The company also revealed an M4 iPad Air, M5 Pro- and Max-powered MacBook Pro models and a Studio Display XDR.
