A two-week-old missing persons case that police initially said was not considered suspicious is now being called “potentially criminal in nature.”

Vermont State Police are continuing to search for a man who hasn't been seen since early January. Investigators believe his disappearance is suspicious. Police say that Corey Crooker, 43, was last seen by family members on Jan. 9. His last known communication with them occurred five days later, on Jan. 14.
