Joan Beringer will begin his career with the Timberwolves with a new jersey number after opting to change from the one he used in Europe.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have strategically focused on renewing their NBA star players' contracts. However, this approach may soon shift, with the potential addition of a veteran guard to join Anthony Edwards.

The Minnesota Timberwolves aren’t finished building out their roster just yet. With one spot still open, the team is reportedly eyeing a veteran guard to provide depth behind Mike Conley and rookie Rob Dillingham.

DiVincenzo suffered a left toe sprain in January that forced him to miss a chunk of time. Even still, the Villanova product averaged 11.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists across 62 games. He shot roughly 40 percent from distance and around 42 percent from the field.

The Wolves are set to be featured on national TV 28 times in the upcoming season, further highlighting Edwards' impact on the franchise.
