James Gunn recently spoke about the future of his “Superman Saga” and hinted at progress on its next project. In a new interview at the Peacemaker Season 2 premiere, he teased work already underway. He also noted its connection to upcoming DCU plans.

The showrunner and DC Studios co-head premiered the second season of 'Peacemaker' alongside star John Cena in NYC.

"I've already finished the treatment for the next story in what I'll call the Superman Saga," Gunn told The Hollywood Reporter at the Peacemaker season 2 premiere. "The treatment is done – which means a very, very worked-out treatment. I'm working on that, and hopefully going into production on that not too far away from today."
