With the No. 30 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, the LA Clippers selected Yanic Konan Niederhauser from Penn State University.

Penn State C Yanic Konan Niederhauser was one of the more unexpected draft entries after keeping his name in at the withdrawal deadline following what he did to improve his stock during the pre-draft process.

And with that pick the 7-foot, 250-pound center became the first Penn State player ever taken in the first round of the NBA Draft. He also became the first Nittany Lions player selected since both Jalen Pickett (Denver) and Seth Lundy (Atlanta) were taking in 2023.
