Fans were shocked at the return, especially given that Lesnar was reportedly on the no-go list in WWE based on his link to the allegations against Vince McMahon. Apparently, the expiration date on Lesnar being blacklisted has passed.

Cody Rhodes was able to defeat John Cena for the Undisputed Championship in the main event of WWE's "SummerSlam." The two-day event took place over the weekend.
