Sure, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy and Christopher Reeve’s Superman films have already been made available in 4K Blu-ray box sets, but they didn’t have the all-important Steelbook covers.
Reeve’s Superman is the only silver screen hero not toppled by a newcomer, making his 1978 blockbuster and its sequels enduring examples of superhuman hope.
Still, the ABC News correspondent noted that he and his family were "grateful" to be invited on the superhero's latest adventure.
It's not available to preorder just yet, but the Superman 5-Film Steelbook Collection releases September 2 and is likely to sell out fast.
