The Storm stand to gain the most long-term advantage if they are able to parlay this trade into landing UConn guard Paige Bueckers in the upcoming draft.

The WNBA began their free agency period with a bang this past weekend headlined by a blockbuster three-team trade featuring two U.S. Olympians.
But Plum’s move wasn’t the only splash. WNBA champion Jewell Loyd, who requested a trade at the end of last year, is also on the move, taking Plum’s roster spot in Las Vegas as part of a three-team trade.

Also, the Aces received the No. 13 pick in the 2025 draft from Los Angeles; the Sparks received the No. 9 pick and a 2026 second-round pick from Seattle; and the Storm will receive the Aces' 2026 first-round pick.
