Dhaka Bangladesh interim government’s Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has said that Dhaka had sent “formal letters” to India seeking deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s extradition but received “no official response” from New Delhi.

His remarks came weeks ahead of the Bimstec Summit in Thailand during April 3-4, when the Bangladeshi side is keen to set up a meeting between Yunus and Prime Minister Narendra Modi
