Microsoft Excel has numerous powerful data analysis functions, but sometimes you need to do something simple like merge some cells. Here's how.
You can split cells into columns in Excel using the "Text to Columns" tool, which is a great way to organize lots of data.
Also, if you end up merging the cells incorrectly or just don't like how it looks, you can use the Unmerge Cells option in the Merge & Center menu to restore a merged cell to individual cells.
If you cannot insert, add or create new cells in worksheets in Microsoft Excel, remove cell protection and unmerge the Rows to begin with.
