Arch Manning is continuing the family's football legacy. The nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning announced on Twitter that he has committed to Texas. According to ESPN, he chose to become a Longhorn over going to Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Clemson or Virginia.

If Manning were to still go to the NFL, the Longhorns could find themselves really in need of a new quarterback out of the transfer portal, because losing Manning and Owens would leave the cupboard rather bare. But if Manning is back, Texas will be just fine. Owens, with a strong pedigree, has a good chance of landing on his feet, as well.
