A demand for better pay dominated the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game as players took the court in shirts saying “Pay Us What You Owe Us.”

Over the past three days, Indianapolis was taken over by the league and its legions of new fans. The players, now global superstars, were mobbed everywhere they went. Downtown, the JW Marriott was covered in a giant Caitlin Clark banner that covered 30 of the hotel's 34 stories and took nine days to install, per Scott Agness .

Kelsey Plum sparked outrage for her comments after the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, where she called out members of team Caitlin Clark for missing a players' meeting.

However, second-year forward Angel Reese is having another dominant campaign, as she earned her second straight All-Star nod this season. Reese is averaging a league-best 12.6 rebounds per game, as well as a career high 14.0 points and 3.8 assists per contest.

WNBA players' message on increased salaries during the All-Star Game on Saturday night appeared to fall flat with fans who tuned into the festivities.
