Wildfire smoke will likely continue to linger across much of the region on Monday leading to hazy skies.Despite improvements to the air quality since Sunday, a plume of wildfire smoke over southern Wisconsin rotating around the periphery of a high pressure center over the Great Lakes,

An air quality advisory is in effect until at least noon Monday for all of Wisconsin because of the Canadian wildfire smoke. The heaviest smoke is expected across eastern Wisconsin Sunday, while lighter impacts are more likely for western counties.

An elevated flooding risk persists on Sunday for some parts of the Southeast as Alabama, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle brace for heavy rainfall.
