The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Lehigh, Northampton and Berks counties for 2 to 4 inches of snow from 7 p.m. Saturday until 7 a.m. Sunday. Expected snowfall amounts are up slightly from earlier forecasts, prompting the weather advisory, according to the weather service.
The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for much of the Heartland as temperatures plummet and wind chills dip to zero and minus 10 degrees Sunday morning.

Snow forecast for this weekend, winter weather advisory issued [Updated]
The discussion indicated a low pressure area over the Upper Great Lakes will push a cold front into southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey on Saturday night, bringing some snow. The amount of snow appears as if it will increase from northwest to southeast, the NWS forecasters said.
The Dense Fog Advisory is expected to be in effect from 3 a.m. until 9 a.m., limiting visibility for a second straight morning in the Alamo City. According to the NWS, visibility will be down to a quarter-mile or less in areas.
The National Weather Service at State College has issued a winter weather advisory for central Pennsylvania from tonight into Sunday afternoon, with between 2 and 3 inches of snow expected.
On Saturday at 11:44 a.m. a cold weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Monday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Coffee, Dale, Henry, Geneva and Houston counties.
