New York City Mayor Eric Adams insisted Thursday he's not accused of anything in the new round of indictments against his former top adviser Ingrid Lewis-Martin .

The latest round of misconduct allegations Thursday comes as Adams, who he himself faced federal corruption charges before they were abandoned by the Trump administration's Justice Department, faces a long shot bid for reelection.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ former chief advisor was accused of accepting thousands of dollars in bribes, the latest in a long string of corruption scandals involving the mayor’s inner circle as he seeks reelection in November.

Ingrid Lewis-Martin and her son Glenn D. Martin, who is also charged, appeared in court Thursday and pleaded not guilty.

Ingrid Lewis-Martin is accused of accepting more than $75,000 in bribes, including $50,000 in cash directed to her son’s account. Read more here.
