Jackson Cantwell, top prospect of the 2026 cycle, has decided to commit to the Miami Hurricanes on Tuesday. The Georgia Bulldogs, who extensively pursued him and were highly likely to land him, didn’t succeed in the end.

Offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, considered one of the top prospects in the 2026 recruiting class, said Tuesday that he will attend the University of Miami.

Oregon Ducks has also made a final push with a visit on Monday, but Georgia and Miami appear to be the main contenders. While sources in Coral Gables suggest Miami is exploring other options, the race isn’t over. As Wiltfong cautioned, “Miami has come on strong with another late offer on the NIL side as well. This could go a few different ways.”
