Austin Reaves is entering his fifth season as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise. Since entering the NBA as an undrafted free agent for the Lakers in 2021, Reaves' role with the team has steadily built.

Reaves is entering the final season of his deal before a $15 million player option for the 2026-27 campaign. While much of the focus this offseason has been on LeBron James exercising his option and Luka Dončić agreeing to an extension, Los Angeles will soon need to focus on Reaves.
