Windsor, Bunnell will make CIAC postseason history on Sunday at CIAC basketball finals
Windsor and Bunnell will play for a boys basketball state title Sunday, a little over three months after doing so in football.
Where will their loved ones be next? That’s the question dozens of families asked Monday night after learning a Windsor Locks nursing home will shut down next month. The closure comes just over a month after 93-year-old Margaret “Peggy” Healey walked out of the facility and into freezing temperatures.
Quarterback A.J. Robinson wasn’t 100% certain he’d be named the Walter Camp Connecticut High School Player of the Year, but thought he had a good shot as he had earned other such honors. Robinson did indeed win the award at Saturday’s 18th annual Breakfast of Champions at Mohegan Sun for his record-setting senior season at Windsor that culminated in a CIAC Class MM championship.
