Microsoft is quietly retiring its Paint 3D Windows app. The app, which was launched in 2016, will no longer receive updates and will be removed from the Microsoft Store on November 4.
To recap the tale of Paint 3D, you may recall it first graced Windows 10 as a new stock app in 2016, not long after the OS launched, as part of the first update.
Paint 3D launched in 2017 with the Windows 10 Creators Update. It combined Microsoft Paint and 3D Builder applications to create a hybrid 2D-3D editing experience.
