Mike Vrabel is adding another veteran coach to his offensive staff. According to a source, the Patriots are hiring former NFL head coach, offensive coordinator, and veteran offensive line coach Doug Marrone. The 60-year-old coach is best known for being a head coach with the Buffalo Bills (2013-2014) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2016-2020).

The Patriots are hiring Todd Downing to be their receivers coach, as first reported by Greg Bedard of the Boston Sports Journal. Downing’s NFL coaching career dates back to 2003, although he has never worked as a WRs coach to date.
