Gwinnett County Public Schools has a new candidate to lead its 180,000 students, a New York City educator who built her career in some of the country's most diverse classrooms.
Dr. Alexandra Estrella is the sole finalist for the Gwinnett County Public Schools superintendent position.
Board members selected Dr. Estrella after a months-long process that included surveys, focus groups and community listening sessions with students and families.
