A cyclone that powered up over unusually warm ocean waters is taking aim at a section of India's coastline that's dense with billions of dollars of investment in data centers, underscoring the threats to infrastructure in a world where extreme weather is becoming more frequent.

Andhra Pradesh is bearing the brunt of Cyclone Arnab, with torrential rain, winds gusting up to 150 kmph and seawater flooding homes and roads along the coast.

The agricultural university has advised farmers to harvest mature paddy, maize and oilseed crops at the earliest and move harvested produce to safe and covered locations.
