That’s just over two weeks from today — it’ll have a YouTube livestream at 8AM ET (that’s 5AM for me on the West Coast!) to show off its already-announced RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT and hopefully reveal their all-important pricing.

The big question here is: if the rumored graphics card is true, is this a gaming GPU, or a data center one? Sadly, we reckon the latter is more likely.

AMD is reportedly taking the Radeon RX 9070 XT price seriously, with the new graphics cards goinh up against the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070.

Nvidia already outpaces AMD in the gaming department, and the company just released its RTX 5090 GPU s, which have already hit absurd prices. Su's call offered some hope. She revealed that the new Radeon RX 9000 series, 9070 and 9070 XT, will launch in early March.

Nvidia is, as usual, leading the GPU market, but if this new rumor is true, there could be some serious competition down the line.

After a weird not-quite-announcement at CES 2025, AMD is ready to whip back the curtain on its next generation of graphics card. Today, David McAfee (VP of Ryzen and Radeon) announced on X that the company will formally unveil the Radeon RX 9070 XT on the AMD Gaming YouTube channel on February 28 at 8 AM Eastern.
