Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that his country needs funds of more than $65 billion annually as it continues to battle against Russian forces. "Ukraine must tackle a deficit of $40 billion.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted a new bill restoring the independence of the country’s anti-corruption agencies.

The anti-corruption agencies were created after pro-democracy protests in 2013. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy claims corruption cases take too long and suggested the agencies were compromised.

The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) has scheduled a session for 31 July to review presidential bill No. 13533, in which Volodymyr Zelenskyy pledges to ensure the independence of Ukraine’s anti-corruption agencies.
