Peacock is raising prices as it adds exclusive NBA games, betting that live sports will justify its biggest subscription hike yet

And now, as the league begins a partnership with two streaming services, watching Heat games might again become a bit more expensive this season, depending on the whims of the league and multiple rights-holders, and also depending on whether you currently subscribe to two major streaming services.

NBC Sports has finalized its NBA on-air team ahead of the league’s return to NBC and debut on Peacock this fall, adding longtime broadcaster Terry Gannon as the latest play-by-play voice.

As the NBA’s board of governors meets Tuesday afternoon at Las Vegas summer league, the subject of expansion is front and center for fan bases in Seattle, Las Vegas and other cities hoping to join the league. But the appetite for adding new teams might not be as strong as previously believed.
