After landing at Newark airport, Norwegian tourist Mads Mikkelsen says he was detained and denied entry to the U.S. because immigration officials found on his phone a photo depicting JD Vance as a bald baby.

The Trump Administration said reports a man was denied entry over a J.D. Vance meme on his phone are false, but tourists have been experiencing tighter border controls.

"The event as a whole was what I can only describe as extremely violating and traumatic," he told the Daily Dot.
