Mougey revealed when he was working as the assistant general manager with the Denver Bronocs he was part of a group that interviewed Glenn for a past head coach vacancy there. The GM said he liked what he heard back then and thinks the same coach is now in New York.

The New York Jets' new general manager Darren Mougey​ and head coach Aaron Glenn​ met the media for the first time since they were named to their jobs.

The team has tapped Denver Broncos assistant general manager Darren Mougey as their next GM. It was reported a few days prior to the announcement, but it has happened officially. Like new head coach Aaron Glenn, Mougey will attempt to find better days for Gang Green moving forward.
