The Michelin Guide, which reviews and rates restaurants from around the world, has announced that it will be adding three more Florida cities to its guide beginning in 2026: Fort Lauderdale, the Palm Beaches and St. Petersburg-Clearwater. The guide has been rating restaurants in Miami, Orlando and Tampa since 2022.

The Michelin Guide will expand its Florida restaurant selection in 2025 to include Greater Fort Lauderdale and The Palm Beaches. The expansion, announced on Feb. 4, comes three years after Michelin entered the South Florida market with Miami, which has 14 starred restaurants and 16 Bib Gourmand eateries.

The St. Petersburg-Clearwater area, along with the Palm Beaches and greater Fort Lauderdale, will be under the culinary microscope as the Michelin Guide announced it will begin evaluating restaurants in these locales for its prestigious star ratings in 2026.
