On Tuesday afternoon, two men were rescued on Madison Lake about 1600 feet from shore after falling through the ice.

Two men in the 70’s were rescued from the water of Madison Lake after falling through the ice Tuesday. According to a release from the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, just after 1:00, deputies, conservation officers and personnel from Madison Lake Fire and Mayo Ambulance responded to the DNR access area of Madison Lake to assist with a man that had fallen through the ice approximately 1600 feet from shore.
