Medford is a 6-foot-1 and 198-pound wide receiver who began his college football career at TCU but made a name for himself at New Mexico. While playing for the Lobos over the past two seasons, he piled up 48 catches for 887 yards and five touchdowns.

The transfer portal activity has been fast and furious for Kansas State football over the past week with the Wildcats adding a wide receiver Thursday. Caleb Medford, who spent the past two seasons at New Mexico,

State's 12th portal addition since the end of the regular season. The Wildcats lost 16 transfers in December ahead of their 44-41 Rate Bowl victory over Rutgers. Medford is K-State's third transfer portal pickup at wide receiver.

The 6-foot-6 and 320-pound blocker figures to be an important addition for K-State, because he plays an important position. The Wildcats need to add veteran talent to their offensive line after bidding farewell to Hadley Panzer, Carver Willis and Easton Kilty up front.
