James Gunn has addressed Margot Robbie’s future in the Suicide Squad franchise — and named another member of the anti-hero group he’d like to bring back.

As James Gunn and Peter Safran continue to build the DC Universe, there have been many questions surrounding Margot Robbie’s future in this new era. With the release of Superman, all eyes have turned to the characters in the Batman universe and Harley Quinn.

Following the success of "Superman," next up for DC Films co-boss James Gunn is the second season of his "Peacemaker" HBO Max series, which returns next week. That show is of course a direct sequel to Gunn's 2021 DC Comics movie "The Suicide Squad" — but that film was part of the now abolished universe established by Zach Snyder's "Man of Steel" in 2013.
