Two young children were found safe after an Amber Alert was issued when their father, who allegedly killed their mother, took them.

The search for the two young girls who were taken by their father following a homicide have been located and found safe, deputies said. An Amber Alert was issued for a man suspected of killing a woman and abducting two girls in Hanford in Central California.

Two children, Alana and Arya Maldonado, who were abducted from Hanford, have been found safe, and their father, Jonathan Maldonado-Cruz, has been taken into custody.
