Shane Bieber is an exciting trade deadline acquisition for the Blue Jays, but he isn't in Toronto yet. Bieber spent Sunday in Buffalo, pitching at Triple-A. It was Bieber's fourth rehab start since beginning his comeback from Tommy John surgery, and his first since joining the Toronto organization.

Bieber is a two-time All-Star and former AL Cy Young Award winner, but he hasn't pitched a full season since 2022 due to injury. The 30-year-old spent his entire career with the Cleveland Guardians before they traded him to the Blue Jays for pitching prospect Khal Stephen.
