After starting the season 2-0 with a 98-43 win over Texas Southern and an 83-68 victory over Oklahoma, Gonzaga has moved up two spots in the Associated Press poll to No. 19. The Zags received 466 total points from the voters. Out of the West Coast Conference, Saint Mary’s didn’t receive any votes.

Auburn moved down a couple of spots to No. 22 in this week’s AP Poll, as they were originally No. 20 heading into the season. The Tigers rank as the sixth-highest SEC team in the poll, with No. 8 Alabama, No. 9 Kentucky, No. 10 Florida, No. 20 Tennessee, and No. 21 Arkansas all ahead of them.

Michigan moved up one spot to No. 6 in the latest poll, which includes 61 media members and, for the first time this season, is influenced by the results of games. All ballots included Michigan, which was as low as No. 16 (two ballots) and as high as No. 1 (The Athletic’s C.J. Moore).

Illinois will host Texas Tech in a Top 15 clash after the latest AP Poll rankings. Illinois is up three spots to No. 14 in the first AP Top 25 since the preseason poll. The Red Raiders of Texas Tech are down one spot to No.
